Alex is a Partner in our Dusseldorf office and the Head of DACH for all of The SR Group brands in the region (Brewer Morris, Carter Murray, Frazer Jones, Keller West and Taylor Root). He is responsible for leading the teams in Dusseldorf and Frankfurt and building the brand of The SR Group across the region.

In 2000, Alex started his career in IT recruitment in London before moving to Amsterdam then Germany in 2004. He gained experience at one of the world’s largest STEM-based recruitment organisations, where he built the DACH business into one the largest businesses in the group. Alex went on to specialise in the tech start-up industry and restructured a large German recruitment company before diversifying it into the technology and engineering sector. He has also supported several PE and VC owned tech recruitment companies when scaling in the DACH region.

Alex is a strong developer of succession in all the businesses he has operated in, delivering high yielding permanent and contract recruitment teams. His understanding of recruiting for the technology sector, start-ups, IT and infrastructure and culture make him best placed to continue the success of The SR Group into the DACH region.
